Lately, things haven’t been going around in the Dallas Cowboys‘ favor, don’t you think? The team has been facing problems in multiple areas. From back-to-back losses in four games, injury setbacks to a player’s outburst against head coach Mike McCarthy. Micah Parsons’ recent outburst against HC McCarthy has shocked many, raising questions about the locker room environment at the AT&T stadium. Following the Former NFLer Shannon Sharpe has directly blamed Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones for being ‘the real problem’ for the team.
In the latest episode of ESPN’s “First Take”, the ex-Broncos TE slammed the veteran owner for being responsible for Parsons disrespecting HC McCarthy. Sharpe mentioned that Jones has established a culture where there’s no hierarchy in the Cowboys’ locker room and everyone knows McCarthy doesn’t have a say in it. So they find it easy to say whatever they want about the HC.
He then added, “Jerry Jones doesn’t see that he’s the problem. See, the blindest man is not the one who can’t see, it’s the man who chooses not to see. Jerry chooses not to see that he’s the issue…You don’t do anything to prove your run game, you don’t do anything to improve your rush defense but somehow you thought you were going to get better…”

Complicated right? Well if you are a Cowboys fan, it’s surely a tough phase for you too. Now it needs to be seen if McCarthy and the team can push past all these issues and get back on the winning track as there’s still a slight possibility for them to qualify for the playoffs. Or is this the beginning of the end for the Cowboys already at the halfway point of the season? Only time can tell.
Micah Parsons bombards the critics of his comments on Mike McCarthy
Things have been quite turbulent in the past 24 hours since Cowboys LB Micah Parson went ballistic about the team’s HC Mike McCarthy following the humiliating 34-6 loss against the Eagles. Many of the NFL’s elites, like ex-NFLer Damian Woody and Rex Ryan came forward to criticize the player for his remarks on his HC. However, now Parsons has decided to go on the offensive against them too, as he blasted them for their harsh words.
In the latest episode of his podcast, “The Edge”, Parson slammed Woody and Ryan for their criticisms. The linebacker mentioned that Woody being a Super Bowl winner should know “the significance of one, throwing out somebody’s injury”. The 2x Pro Bowler called it a “blatant disrespect” and urged everyone to “see through the BS of what these TV analysts are trying to do”.

Parsons then bombarded Ryan pointing out his past interest in being the Cowboys’ HC. Parsons said, “If we had a guy like [Ryan] that’s willing to go on TV and provide this type of nonsense, imagine what he could do to a locker room”.
What a mess, isn’t it? Well, it seems like “Micah Parsons vs Mike McCarthy” has now turned into something more. And well, the 25-year-old doesn’t seem to be interested in taking a step back without a fight.
