Jerry Jones is quite concerned about his team’s record this season. They haven’t been on track this year due to injury and other factors. Everyone is trying to figure out why the Cowboys were like this. But it appears that one NFL legend has already figured it out. The legend we’re talking about is Mark Schlereth, who recently blasted Jones and gave the team a reality check. But what did the NFL icon say?

Mark Schlereth claims Jerry Jones is entirely wrong about his team

Well, you have probably heard Jerry Jones say several times that the Dallas Cowboys are a fantastic team. The loss they have been experiencing is purely due to luck, not a lack of effort. However, it appears that Mark Schlereth believes that this assertion is totally incorrect.

The NFL legend stated, “The Cowboys are just flat-out awful and I love when Jerry Jones comes out and says efforts are not an issue. I just watched the guy didn’t even study the game. I just watched the game. I could show you effort being an issue with Dallas Cowboys.”

This was not the end of it, as Mark Schlereth began to chastise the players for their lack of effort. The former player mentioned CeeDee Lamb and other players partying after a loss. For those who missed out, this happened after the team had a terrible 43-10 loss to the Texans. The Cowboys players were observed hitting the clubs rather than practicing more. This was then referred to as the players’ careless attitude. And because of this type of behavior, the Cowboys fans are paying a price.

The legend stated, “So the Dallas Cowboys come out and win this game when their players are making a video at the club two hours after they are done. You know, getting throttled.” While there was no involvement from Jerry Jones in it. But the man should have been more stern with the players, given that he is not only the team’s owner but also its general manager.

While everything was going on, the Cowboys’ next game versus the Commanders was also mentioned. During the conversation, Mark Schlereth also made a disparaging statement about Jerry Jones’ team.

Schlereth believes that Cowboys can not defeat Commanders

Cowboys supporters may find it difficult to hear, but the former NFL player did say it. The man was so furious with the squad that he made his final prediction after pointing out their flaws. The man stated, “Yeah listen, Cowboys have zero chance of beating the Commanders.”

While this was a normal prediction, he had too much confidence. And that confidence was there because of everything that has been going on with the squad and its members. With all the carelessness the team can only fall much more as the team’s general manager, Jerry Jones, has not taken any action.
