But Jerry isn’t just stacking up Super Bowl rings; he’s also stacking up good deeds. With his wife, Gene, and daughter, Charlotte, the Jones family has turned their attention to giving back in some major ways. Non-profits? You bet they’re involved. Helping those in need? Oh, they’re all over that. They’ve truly made it a family affair, and honestly, who knew the Jones family would be as famous for their charitable work as they are for their team?

Through their charitable organizations, they continue to enhance the lives of the community which lack resources. Besides running The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation to enrich the lives of young people in Arlington, they recently astonished many by accumulating a remarkable national award from The Salvation Army. Isn’t it the biggest accomplishment for the Jones family? Well, to cherish the special moment of the Cowboys owner and his family, The Salvation Army USA took to their Instagram account.

Along with sharing vibrant glimpses of presenting the Highest Distinguished Service Award, they mentioned the heartfelt long note in their post caption. “The Salvation Army has proudly honored Gene, Jerry, and Charlotte Jones with the Order of Distinguished Auxiliary Service award for their decades of unwavering support,” they mentioned at the beginning of their post caption.

He and his family have been helping several homeless people since 1997. The Jones family donated more than $3 billion dollars to combat homelessness and poverty.  They also mentioned the same in their IG post caption. Apart from that, since their collaboration with an international charitable brand, the Jones family helped transform the Christmas fundraising effort, the Red Kettle Kickoff, into a national movement.

Clearly, for around 30 years, the Jones family has been inspiring other corporate partners to raise awareness for philanthropy. Apart from emphasizing the Jones family’s innovative approach, The Salvation Army also highlighted Jones’s active engagement in local outreach in the  North Texas area. “Beyond the national impact, their hands-on involvement with The Salvation Army North Texas from Thanksgiving meals to Angel Tree donations has made a lasting difference in their local community,” they further mentioned in their post caption.

At this moment, the 124-year-old non-profit organization also adored the Jones family’s dedicated leadership in giving back to the community. “The Jones family’s dedicated leadership sets a remarkable example for corporate philanthropy and community involvement, inspiring countless others to give back,” they further added in their post.  For Jerry Jones, and his family’s commitment to helping the unprivileged community, they also expressed their thanks to the Jones family for their decades-long partnership with them. “We are truly grateful for their continued partnership,” they concluded their post with great regard.

At this moment, even the National Commander of the Salvation Army, Commissioner Kenneth Hodder also gave big applause to the Jones family in giving back to the community. “Their legacy of compassion and commitment to helping others truly deserves recognition through this esteemed award to celebrate the impact they continue to make in our communities,” he added.

Interestingly, this is not the first time when Jerry Jones and his family drew massive attention for their charitable work.

Cowboys’ Jerry Jones and his wife also run the non-profit organization, The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation. Through this charitable organization, they mainly focus on the improvement of the youth’s lifestyle in the City of Arlington. They raise complementary funds for programs and facilities which is mainly committed to football, athletics, education, health, and the arts.

Not only this, the Gene and Jerry Jones Family also made waves for helping cancer patients. For this cause, they donated a huge sum of $7.5 million for the construction of the cancer care facility, the Hope Lodge facility in Dallas. “It’s far more than a building, it’s far more than just coming together with dollars. It’s a real tangible message of hope, of real tangible results,” Jerry Jones stated at that moment.

Remarkably, it provides free lodging for cancer patients in Dallas, so thousands of them travel far from home to receive cancer treatment. Not only this, but by collaborating with many other charitable organizations, Gene and Jerry Jones’ family also works for child welfare, sports, arts, and culture, contributing to the holistic upliftment of society.
