Along with sharing vibrant glimpses of presenting the Highest Distinguished Service Award, they mentioned the heartfelt long note in their post caption. “The Salvation Army has proudly honored Gene, Jerry, and Charlotte Jones with the Order of Distinguished Auxiliary Service award for their decades of unwavering support,” they mentioned at the beginning of their post caption.

He and his family have been helping several homeless people since 1997. The Jones family donated more than $3 billion dollars to combat homelessness and poverty. They also mentioned the same in their IG post caption. Apart from that, since their collaboration with an international charitable brand, the Jones family helped transform the Christmas fundraising effort, the Red Kettle Kickoff, into a national movement.
Clearly, for around 30 years, the Jones family has been inspiring other corporate partners to raise awareness for philanthropy. Apart from emphasizing the Jones family’s innovative approach, The Salvation Army also highlighted Jones’s active engagement in local outreach in the North Texas area. “Beyond the national impact, their hands-on involvement with The Salvation Army North Texas from Thanksgiving meals to Angel Tree donations has made a lasting difference in their local community,” they further mentioned in their post caption.

For this cause, they donated a huge sum of $7.5 million for the construction of the cancer care facility, the Hope Lodge facility in Dallas. “It’s far more than a building, it’s far more than just coming together with dollars. It’s a real tangible message of hope, of real tangible results,” Jerry Jones stated at that moment.

Remarkably, it provides free lodging for cancer patients in Dallas, so thousands of them travel far from home to receive cancer treatment.
