Jerry Jones family is about way more than just the Dallas Cowboys. The 82-year-old billionaire is best known for his NFL empire, but his ventures stretch far beyond the gridiron. As per Forbes, the Cowboys owner has a net worth of $17 billion. Thanks to his oil business, Comstock, and other investments.

Well, there is a philanthropic side of the Jones family as well. In 2021, the Cowboys owner donated $20 million to support the construction of a museum. And just in case you forgot, that was the ‘National Medal of Honor Museum and Leadership Institute‘. And now, Jerry Jones’ daughter, Charlotte Jones, has exciting news about the same. On Saturday morning, Cowboys Executive VP Charlotte announced the Grand Opening of the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas. Sharing a story on her IG, the 58-year-old wrote, “Exciting Night TONIGHT!!!”

Located near the Cowboys’ home ground, AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, this museum will share the stories of those who have received the nation’s highest military honor. The Jones family’s role in this museum is more than just being donors to its foundation. Jerry’s daughter, Charlotte, is the Chairperson of the National Medal of Honor Museum board.

The construction of this museum started in 2021 and now, after three long years, this dream has finally come to life. Really grand things, not just in combat, but in everyday life … are all accomplished by ordinary people who conclude that something has to be done and they are going to do it,” said Jack Jacobs. Jack is a retired U.S. Army colonel. He shared how he lost a lot of friends during the Vietnam War. “You do wear the award for all of the people who can’t wear the award,” shared the 79-year-old.

In this museum, one can get to know the stories of military honor recipients. “Here you meet the people first and then you learn what they did,” said the museum’s Senior VP, Alexandra Rhue. But that’s not all for the Jerry Jones family, they had even more to celebrate.
