What a sad season for the New York Jets! This time too, they failed to end their 13-year playoff drought. They finished in a way that they all should be proud of…for that, I’m forever grateful.” Before this, he also thanked the franchise owner and the GM.

The major questions Jeff Ulbrich faced were about his season and managing two roles- the HC and defensive coordinator. Clearing the air about his mistakes as much as he could, Ulbrich said, “It’s one of those things were, you know, as I spoke on the thing before. The continuity was my paramount issue. And I wanted to make sure, from a coaching staff perspective, we stayed much the course as we had going into the season.” Maybe, carrying out both roles was a bit too much for him.

I would not coordinate the defense.” He knows deep inside, that was a mistake he wouldn’t repeat in the future.

Ulbrich has been the Jets’ defensive coordinator for three years from 2021 to 2024. But when the franchise fired HC Robert Saleh, the following week 5.
