The Week 14 game started with some injuries. The game between the Tennessee Titans and the Miami Dolphins kicked off at 8:15 p.m. at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Garden, Florida. In the first quarter itself, the Dolphins got an injury blow as wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was speared by three opposition players.

Waddle took a hard hit, stayed on the ground for a bit, and then walked to the blue medical tent for assessment. Besides him, three other players of the Phins met with injuries in the first quarter.

The injury plague in the Phins team

During the first quarter, Phins WR Jaylen Waddle got hit from three sides by the Titans players. He then lay down on the field in pain. Assistants came in to check on him and helped him walk towards the blue medical tent. It’s unclear what Waddle is going through, but it looked like he got hit hard on the head during the game.

Now without Waddle, the team will need to depend on “CheetahTyreek Hill, River Cracraft, and Braxton Berrios.

Other than him, Dolphins CB Xavien Howard, RB Raheem Mostert, and Connor Williams ‘have all gotten banged up in the first five minutes of tonight’s game vs. Tennessee’. However, now the latest update on Waddle is that he had returned later in the drive.

What’s the update on other injured players?

The Dolphins have been dealing with multiple injuries on their defensive team lately. In the Week 14 game, cornerback Xavien Howard got hurt only three plays into the game. He collided with safety Brandon Jones during an incomplete pass, and Howard stayed on the ground, holding his hip. After a while, he walked off the field on his own and went to the blue medical tent for evaluation.

However, as per updates, he also came back to play in the next drive. Raheem Mostert, who also got injured in the first quarter, has now returned in the next drive. However, center Connor Williams, who got rolled into from behind, had to go to the training room for a checkup.

Right now, it’s uncertain whether he will return as Williams is currently dealing with a knee injury.
