Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels got off to a flying start on his NFL debut. In the first game of the 2024 season against the Buccaneers, he became the first rookie QB to rush for 80 yards and score two touchdowns on debut. However, the Commanders lost that game by 37-20. The week 2 game against the New York Giants gave a scare to the fans.

The coaches need to work on his sliding technique if they want to prolong his run in the season. The QB weighs 210 pounds and needs to bulk up to the average weight of NFL quarterbacks, 225 pounds.

When Commanders drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, he celebrated the occasion with his mother. Fans were teary-eyed (in happiness) after seeing a photo of mom and son hugging each other in joy.
