Is Travis Kelce going to win a Super Bowl and disappear into the sunset with Taylor Swift? Well, some are making a case for it. He has already won two Super Bowls. As for his elder brother, retirement rumors are already in place for Jason Kelce. So, what’s the harm in giving up on a risky sport dedicating himself for over a decade to it? If he does retire, it would make one heck of a story. Besides, it would be great to hang up on the National Football League after winning another Super Bowl.

Rob Gronkowski went on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams and touched upon the topic of the Kelce brothers saying their goodbyes. Their conversation really would leave people with some food for thought. Who knows? The brothers might just decide to hang it up and it might be their last Super Bowl.

Up & Adams’ account on X posted a video in which Kay Adams brings up Kelce brothers retiring. Adams mentioned how it might be the TE’s “last run” and asked Gronk about the “vibe” he was getting from all of this. The 4x Super Bowl winner mentioned how these might be “rumors” and there might be some “smoke” to them. According to the retired TE, the brothers are at an age where retirement may be a real possibility.

Per Gronkowski, Jason Kelce retiring makes more sense because of the position he plays. The position of a Center is very demanding and there’s a high possibility of getting “banged up”. Besides, the Kelce family has got their things going on. With their podcast New Heights, and a couple of TV commercials, the Kelce brothers might not have problems switching careers.

For the Philadelphia Eagles star, retirement is an option on the table, most definitely, but he wants to do it properly by paying homage to all the people who have supported him and he values. Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce recently broke her silence on his retirement rumors in a supportive message. “I think that whatever he does he’s going to be successful in…I think that’s his personality,” she opened up on Good Morning America.

On the other hand, the Chiefs TE’s thoughts on the situation are polar opposite. “It’s been cool to see everybody appreciate who he’s been over the years this past week, but I think the big guy still got some football left if he wants it,” said Travis in a presser. But again, he also mentioned that he would respect his brother’s decision.

As for himself, Travis Kelce mentioned that he has “no desire to stop” and gave the reasoning behind his stance.

What’s keeping Travis Kelce from retiring?

In a presser that happened on Jan 11, Kelce mentioned that he might not retire just yet and had three main reasons behind it. Firstly, the Chiefs are in their “success” era, secondly, he loves football too much to even think of retiring. And lastly, he gets the kicks out of the “challenges” the game gives him and wants to be always at his best.

The TE mentioned how he thinks about retirement “more than anyone could imagine”, but the off-season gives him time off from gridiron to enjoy his life over again. Maybe this offseason will be different for him, especially after his newfound love. It might reset his brain again and he might hang on to football for just one more season.
