Rich Eisen kicked off the conversation mentioning that Kelce was retiring and wanted to know Dan Orlovsky’s take on the situation. Right off the bat, the former Lions QB called him an “All-Time Philadelphia Sports Athlete” without hesitation. He then shared a story about his wife calling him to confirm whether the news was true or not. He mentioned how his Philadelphia native wife is a “die-hard Eagles fan” and couldn’t fathom Kelce’s retirement.
Orlovsky panicked when his wife called him and thought something had gone wrong. Which it did, just not in the manner Orlovsky thought. His wife said to him, “I need to talk to you,” and added, “Is Kelce retiring?” The story had Eisen laughing all the way. The Co-host then proceeded to call Kelce “one of the greatest centers of all time” and a “cog for one of the best offensive lines in the NFL for over a decade.”
After 13 seasons in the league, Kelce has solidified himself in people’s hearts and they want to see more of him. For the longest time, there has been news about Kelce visiting various media houses, trying to find his post-football calling. The day when we see him on TV as a broadcaster is not far away. But Kelce’s retirement didn’t only hit Orlovsky’s wife hard, it also affected other Eagles fans, with one taking a particularly surprising perfect step toward in memory of the same.

The trend might just go back to Super Bowl LII when the Eagles beat the New England Patriots and brought home the Lombardi Trophy. In his SB parade speech, Kelce said “f*** ‘em” to all the haters. It didn’t take long for Eagles fans to make this message their motto. One of them got Kelce tattooed on him from the Parade and below his face we could see the words “f*** ‘em” tattooed in all caps.
