Jason Kelce might be the most humble and wholesome personality in football. The evidence of the same is given when he receives enormous love from fans all across. His exit from the professional football realm brought many NFL enthusiasts to tears. Fans showered the former center with so much love that many people even got tattoos of him. But, it is not just his on-field prowess that has helped him garner so much love but also his off-field altruistic side that has made him a fan-favorite.

A fan called 94WIP and talked about how Kelce helped him out in his tough times. This interesting narrative caught the attention of Rich Eisen, who couldn’t help but reflect on his own self. He thought that he wasn’t enough for the people in need. He tried to compare himself with Jason Kelce on his podcast, The Rich Eisen Show, and shared some powerful words.

The host pointed out how 94WIP Radio has been getting a lot of calls from fans and a lot of them had some good stories about Jason Kelce. One such story stood out like a pin in the haystack. The fan goes by the name of Randy and has a touching story to tell about Jason Kelce and the great human he is.

Randy mentioned how he is a veteran and doesn’t usually suffer from PTSD. However, he was struggling through COVID-19, and the pandemic triggered a condition in him. He reported having one of the worst times of his life and decided to get this message to Jason Kelce on his Facebook page. The fan mentioned that Kelce reached out to him and asked, “Brother are you okay? You need somebody to talk to?”

The fan mentioned how he was a huge Kelce fan and had his jersey since Kelce’s second year in the league. This had a deep impact on Eisen as he evidently couldn’t control his emotions. The millionaire said, “That hit me like a ton of bricks. I had to sit down where I was and start thinking about what more I can do.” Eisen mentioned how his life was less complicated than Kelce’s and the retired player is still doing so much for the people.
