Ari Meirov and Dov Kleiman’s posts on X substantiate the rumors about Jason Kelce’s retirement plans. Meirov’s post read, “#Eagles center Jason Kelce has met with Amazon, ESPN, and FOX about potential broadcasting opportunities, per @FOS.” Front Office Sports first broke the news.

Another instance of Kleiman’s post on X suggests that the Eagles center might find a permanent spot on the Thursday Night Football hosted by Amazon Prime. The post from Kleiman is sitting at about 50k views right now.

Kleiman’s post on X was captioned, “𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Amazon met with Jason Kelce this week to discuss possibly joining Prime Video’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ coverage, per @MMcCarthyREV.”

Millions of people love Jason Kelce and his wholesome character. The co-host of the New Heights podcast often takes time to meet with his fans and get involved with them as much as he can. He was spotted at the Bills-Chiefs tailgating party, enjoying with the Bills fans as they shared their food and drinks with him.

Per the FOS report, Kelce is just “testing the waters” and hasn’t decided about retirement yet.

The All-Pro ‘depressed?’

He is in two minds about his career and is afraid of the “unknown.” In an episode of Green Light with Chris Long, the Eagles center mentioned how it would be nice to “lose some weight” and not worry about getting injured for once. The rumors started after the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round.

By the end of the game, Jason Kelce was about to burst into tears, not being able to comprehend how his season had ended. This might have also led to some sad thoughts, as the All-Pro mentioned an instance of being depressed.

“No matter who you are or how well-prepared you are to enter the next stage, everybody goes through a level of depression,” mentioned Kelce. However, no matter what he does, his wife, Kylie Kelce, has made it clear on several occasions that she will be beside her husband no matter what his decision is.

Hopefully, he sorts things out, and we will see him on TV soon, either playing football or as a broadcaster on TNF.
