It’s all about commitment! Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, is an ardent supporter of the Philly team. This was also evident in a recent incident at her brother-in-law’s game on February 11.
As the Eagles were not playing the Super Bowl this time, Jason and Kylie made themselves available to cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs because of Travis Kelce. However, Kylie chose a subtle way to cheer for them, which Jason recently revealed on his podcast, expressing how passionate a fan Kylie is for the Eagles.

In his New Heights podcast on Wednesday, February 14, with Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce revealed the incident a few hours before Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII game. He confirmed that Kylie Kelce refused to wear the Chiefs’ jersey to the game as she is an ardent Eagles fan. Jason revealed, “She just does not want to do it. She’ll wear other universities, but she won’t wear other NFL teams… I’ve tried… we have family in the game. It’s O.K. to cheer on that team. They’re not playing the Eagles. You realize this isn’t against the Eagles, right?” But Kylie didn’t wear the Chiefs gear to the game. Instead, she wore a red tee to support the Chiefs this time.
Jason Kelce confirmed that Kylie Kelce does indeed refuse to wear any other team’s gear than the Eagles.
“She will not do it.. I try to tell her “Listen Kylie, we have family in the game. It’s okay to cheer on that team. They’re not playing the Eagles. She just refuses to do it”… pic.twitter.com/LYKqKHzoaZ

Appreciating this, Travis in the podcast responded, “I respect it Ky… I appreciate you even wearing red.” Earlier, in Jason’s Kelce documentary, which premiered on Prime Video in September 2023, Kylie made the stance clear that “I am like an Eagles fan to the extent of, like, if Jason ever went and played for another team, I would wear ‘Kelce,’ I would not wear another team’s stuff. Like, I’ve thought about that a number of times where I just couldn’t do it. It sounds terrible.” Kylie also cleared that she wants both Kelce brothers to be successful, however, she won’t be “going out to do the Chiefs chop.”
The reason for her being a Philly fan isn’t just associated with his partner. Even before marrying Jason in 2018, former field hockey player Kylie was a Philly supporter and a Narberth, Philadelphia, native. That’s the reason she is a forever fan of Philadelphia. However, she said that she does support the Chiefs sometimes, but the condition is they aren’t playing with the Eagles.
When they weren’t playing the Chiefs this time, Kylie joined Jason to support Travis and KC. However, Kylie refused to watch the game after refusing the Chiefs’ gear.

Jason Kelce attended the game wearing the Chiefs jersey with a “Big Yeti” label imprinted on the front to support Travis Kelce (also known as Big Yeti). On Sunday, he was constantly cheering for the Red squad at Allegiant Stadium. Meanwhile, Kylie, who was next to him wearing a red tee in the private suite, refused to see the Super Bowl game at some point. This was because she couldn’t bear the extreme pressure of watching the close game of the 2024 Super Bowl. Kylie later shared a video story on her Instagram on Tuesday, February 13, informing about her inability to stand the pressure of the game.
The Philly fan wrote, “At some point Sunday my superstition kicked in hard. I refused to watch the game, even via the TVs.” However, she confirmed that although she wasn’t watching the game, she knew what was happening in that critical scene. Kylie added, “I was just watching [friend Sarah King’s] reactions, and that kept me in the loop.”
