Hold up, is it just me, or is the temperature turning high? I guess Sunday is here, which is going to go down in the history books. Why so? Because the Chiefs and the Bills will be going head-to-head against each other for the AFC championship, that’s why. And hey, trust me, if there’s anyone who can be a big trouble for the Chiefs, it’s 100% the Bills. Let me fill you in with a quick fact. The Bills have beaten the Chiefs in the last 4 regular season games. And the Chiefs got 3-0 in the playoffs against the Bills. The stakes are high this time, as one will be aiming to get 3 Super Bowls in a row and one will be aiming to get their hands on the ring for the first time.

But this Sunday isn’t just about the Chiefs vs. Bills—there’s another major showdown, Eagles vs. Commanders. And we all know Jason Kelce is a former Eagles star. On a recent episode of his talk show, They Call It Late Night, Jason opened up about the tough decision he’s facing. “I’m working with ESPN, and I’ll be at the tailgate for the Birds game, which I’m excited about. Initially, they were going to make me go up to Bristol, but then they said, ‘Hey, do you want to just stay down there and be a reporter on the scene?’ So I’m really fired up to be there for that.” But the dilemma occurred, “I don’t know, I’m kind of torn. I want to be there for the Eagles, but I also want to be there for my brother. I don’t know how many more he has.

It’s true, that Jason was a great player, but he is Travis Kelce’s brother first. No wonder why he’s stuck right in the middle of this dilemma. Obviously, career is very important but at the same time, family is everything we live for. He loves the Eagles, oh man, he really does. Even after retiring in March 2024, Jason never stopped visiting the NovaCare Complex. And no, it’s not because he’s considering making a comeback or something. He just simply loves to be around his former teammates.

In an interview with NBC reporter John Clark, Jason shared, “The game is always evolving, and if you want to stay knowledgeable about it, you have to continue to stay involved, stay around the game, stay around the guys that are in it, coaches that are in it. For me, I kind of get a two-fer. I get to be able to work out and kind of poke my head around a little bit.”  But now, one of the most important matches of his brother Travis Kelceʼs career is just around the corner. Jason admitted, “I donʼt know how many more he has.” Wait a second—could Jason Kelce be hinting that Travis Kelce’s career may be nearing its end?

Is Travis Kelce really going to hang his cleats?

Travis Kelce is like a fine wine, who’s just getting better with age. I mean, come on, did you see his touchdown against the Texans? Yeah, that moment will always be one of the most epic performances in the NFL. But Jason’s recent hint about Travis leaving the gridiron has created quite a buzz. When asked about his retirement plans, Travis Kelce admitted, “It changes every single day,” emphasizing how deeply invested he is in helping the Chiefs secure a historic three-peat. But he’s a human, after all, and maybe after a tough game, he gets thoughts like retiring.

Even Patrick Mahomes expressed his thoughts on the possibility of Kelce’s retirement during an interview on The Drive with Carrington Harrison. Mahomes stated, “If it’s his last game, let’s go out there and get him a win.” That’s all you need to hear from your brothers on the team. Even if he doesn’t win the Super Bowl, it doesn’t matter because he’s already won the hearts of his team and every fan out there rooting for him. But we can’t help but wonder if this marks the final chapter for one of the NFL’s greatest tight ends.
