Detroit fans couldn’t have asked for a better Thanksgiving treat than the Lions gave them on Thursday. Scraping their seven-game losing streak on Thanksgiving, the Lions are now on a 10-game winning streak dating back to week 3. On the day when their defense stood strong to a late Bears comeback. Jared Goff was deemed the proprietor of the Lions’ victory for yet another outstanding performance.

His 21-of-34 passes for 221 yards and two TDs, one in each half, helped the Lions keep control of the game. This ended up bringing him the inaugural Madden Thanksgiving MVP Award yesterday. The NFL decided to offer this title to every best player out of the three games that took place on Thanksgiving. After seeing the Lions QB make a bit of history on such an auspicious day. His wife, Christen Goff, decided to flex the award post-victory.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model shared a snap of the MVP trophy lying on their Thanksgiving dinner table. Well, it also marked the first time Jared Goff won a Thanksgiving game in his nine-year stay in the NFL. Not a bad way to end that streak, right? As for Christen Goff, like her husband, she also had a great time at the Ford Field. Before sharing Goff’s achievement on her IG stories, Christen was captured grooving to Shaboozey’s half-time Live show in Detroit.

And just hours before the game started, she showed off her outfit to watch her husband ball out on Thanksgiving. Wearing a black jacket, with a black t-shirt and a Lions-themed jacket, Christen gave the caption, “Happy Thanksgiving!!!! & go, Lions!” Even Jared Goff, post-game, was treated to some roasted turkey with his teammates on the field. This led to him describing the moment as unforgettable, “That’s something that I’ll never forget. It was actually pretty good. The stuffing was good. We were having a good time. It’s awesome. It’s a memory. I’ll have forever.”

While the Goff family enjoyed their outing on Thanksgiving, the Bears found themselves as a laughing stock for their first-half performance.

Caleb Williams’ Bears trolled by fans after embarrassing first-half display on Thanksgiving

Whatever positive the second half had for the Bears, it was equally miserable in the first half. They only had 53 total yards while getting dunked 16 points by the Lions in both quarters. Well, what made their first half more embarrassing was the total time they had on offense. Staying just 7:06 minutes in the first half, the Bears time was slightly higher than Shaboozey’s half-time show. This led to CBS analyst Jonathan Jones jokingly calling out the Bears’ offense, “Shaboozey is going to be on the field longer than the Bears offense.”

He even attached a picture that compared the Lions’ total yards of 279 to the Bears’ 53 total yards. Well, Matt Zahn, an anchor for CBS Chicago, also joined in on the fun in his comments, “It was close, but go Bears! Bears 1st half time of possession: 7:06. Shaboozey (unofficial) time on field: 6:26.” Even others chimed in with their trolls as one account posted, “Shaboozey 69 yards traveled in the halftime show, and compared it with Bears 53 total yards in the first half.”
