Jared Goff just had one of the best seasons of his career. And deservingly, so the spotlight was on him… The Lions roared (until they met the Cinderella Commanders), and he was the king under center who led his brothers in arms to a 15-3 finish.
But now, it’s time for the other Goff to steal the spotlight. His wife, Christen. And Jared did not fail to put it all on his beau as he took a moment to celebrate his wife’s return to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit with a simple but powerful message on his Instagram story: “So proud of you!” Short. Sweet. And straight from the heart.
Christen has been a mainstay in the SI Swimsuit lineup since 2021 and is back for her fifth consecutive feature—this time, photographed in Jamaica by Yu Tsai. The sneak peek? A sun-soaked reel showcasing her latest shoot, where she rocked two stunning bikinis.

The message? Confidence, empowerment, and body positivity. Even Kyle Juszczyk‘s wife, Kristin, had to hop in the comments, calling her “A real-life angel.”

Beyond the runway, Christen’s been a force in Hollywood, starring in films like Seven Eleven and Auggie. But her biggest role? Being a rock for Jared Goff. The two met in 2019, got engaged in 2022, and made it official in 2024. Through Pro Bowls and playoff runs, she’s been there—game day fits and all.
Meanwhile, Jared just capped off a monster season with Detroit, leading them to a franchise-best 15-2 record and snagging Offensive MVP at the Pro Bowl. But he’s not satisfied…
Jared Goff wants to follow ‘owner’ suit of Patrick Mahomes
Jared Goff isn’t just calling plays on the field—he’s making moves off it too. The Lion QB and his wife, Christen Harper, are throwing their hats into the ownership ring, joining an investment group bidding to bring a WNBA team to Detroit.

Sound familiar? That’s because Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, are doing the same thing in Kansas City. The NFL rivalry just found a new playing field, and this time, it’s courtside.
Goff’s group isn’t messing around. They’ve got heavy hitters backing them, including Pistons owner Tom Gores and Lions owner Sheila Hamp. If they land the bid, Detroit’s WNBA franchise would play at Little Caesars Arena, home of the Pistons and Red Wings. “This is an exciting opportunity to welcome the WNBA back to Detroit,” said Gores.
Now, if you’re wondering whether Goff is thinking even bigger—maybe, say, NFL ownership one day—you wouldn’t be alone. But the QB is keeping it real. “No. Not right now,” he admitted back in October. “Maybe 20 years from now, 30 years from now, but not right now. I don’t have enough money to do that.” Fair enough.

Owning an NFL team isn’t exactly a budget-friendly hobby, with franchises averaging a cool $5.7 billion in value. Even with Goff’s $241 million in career earnings, he’s got a long way to go before cutting those checks. Still, NFL stars diving into ownership is becoming a trend. Mahomes already owns stakes in the Kansas City Royals, Sporting KC, and an NWSL team. Aaron Rodgers has a piece of the Milwaukee Bucks. Even Travis Kelce is in the game, investing in a Formula One team.
So, could Goff follow suit? “Maybe one day,” he teased. But for now, his focus is on something more immediate—bringing women’s basketball back to Detroit.
