The week 5 SNF game between the Bengals and Ravens was intense. Joe Burrow tried, but Lamar Jackson had the last laugh. In the 4th quarter, the Bengals took the lead with 31-21. Then, 2 touchdowns by the Ravens and 1 more TD by the Bungles made the score 38-35. Then, Justin Tucker scored a field goal which made scores 38 for both. In the overtime, Tucker scored another FG from 51 yards, giving a loss to his rivals.
In the end, the Ravens won 41-38. Now, the emotional outburst has started. After losing the game, WR Ja’Marr Chase had a hard time accepting defeat. He was visibly disappointed and didn’t even bother answering questions and said, “How does it feel when we lose? How do you think? You know what I’m, I’m tired of hearing.”
His comments came after Joe Burrow’s shocking confession after the loss, which was that they were not a Super Bowl-caliber team. The QB completed 30 of 39 passes (76.95% pass completion rate) with 392 yards, but the defense couldn’t hold the rivals. Their receiving department also lagged.

Chase recorded the best WR figures for the Bungles. He had 10 receptions for 193 yards with 2 touchdowns. Tee Higgins came in second place with 9 receptions for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns. But the locker room is gloomy now. They couldn’t continue their winning run. After 5 games, they sit at a 1-4 win-loss record.
Can they bounce back? Lots of planning needs to be done if they want that. Let’s check out how the locker room is reacting to the loss.

The overtime loss would haunt the Bungles. Cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt had to eat his words after losing to Commanders. This game was a reminder that they are still lacking in saving points. The CB talked about the game and said, “The linebackers have to play together with the defensive line. And the defensive backs, we have to play together so we can stop them.” He recorded 6 tackles in the game.
The team started as one of the best, and (Joe) Burrow was among the best QBs in the league. But once the season started, the winning has come hard. Linebacker Logan Wilson had 5 solo out of 9 tackles. But he also echoed the fans’ sentiments and said, “We’ve got to be better. I’m tired of losing.”

Amid all this, the head coach is still hopeful of a revival. Zac Taylor praised the efforts of his team and added, “We still gave ourselves opportunities to win the game, and we didn’t take advantage of it.” Whatever opportunities they had during the game don’t matter now. The game is lost.
