Sandra Luckett is a single parent who prefers privacy. Raising her sons as a single mom, she has left no stone unturned in shaping her son’s football career. Luckett gave birth to him on March 12, 1999, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She also has a younger son named Aaden.

Despite her desire for a private life and her limited presence on Instagram, it indeed goes without a doubt that she has beautifully fulfilled her role as a mother. However, Jalen shares a very healthy bond with his mom. Previously, Sandra’s motherly side caught huge attention when she stood by him in his adverse time.

Years ago, Redmond faced mental struggles as he worked to return to football after suffering from blood clot issues that sidelined him for most of the 2018 season. He completely lost his hope of playing football again. It was during this challenging time that his beloved mother encouraged him to resume his football career. In 2019, the Oklahoma defensive lineman had a change of heart and made a notable return to football for the sake of his mother and family. He played a pivotal role in a game against the Tigers, filling in for starting defensive end Ronnie Perkins, who was suspended.

Luckett attended the game and supported him from the stands. Afterward, Redmond expressed his admiration for his mom’s presence and support, saying, “She loves it. We’re really not a big football family, but she’s been to most of our games. It probably sounds soft or whatever, but I really enjoy her being there.”

Earlier, when asked about his mother, Redmond became emotional, expressing his deep love for her and attributing his current success to her. “She means the world to me. I don’t know where I’d be if it wasn’t for my mom. I can’t even speak because I have no idea,” he remarked. He also highlighted his mother’s role in his daily life, adding, “She pushes me every day. If I don’t wake up on time for workouts she comes in there yelling. She makes sure I’m not slacking on my school work at all. She’s not going for that, so I’m very happy to have her as a mother.”

Years back, Luckett also shared her feelings, saying, “I get emotional. He told me that when he was six, but I don’t want him to think he’s doing it for me. I want him to do it for himself, so he won’t have to go through what I went through raising him and his brother. So far, he’s heading in a great direction toward achieving that.”
