During the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade in Philly, Jalen Hurts looked like a Hollywood boss, wearing his jersey and a hat while smoking a cigar. However, amid all these celebrations, fans wondered about the fate of their veteran DE Brandon Graham. He tore his triceps in week 12. Although he came off the injury in the Super Bowl LIX, during the game, he tore it again and underwent surgery. Now, he is retired. He announced it last month and is giving his views on the team.

During the April 9 episode of the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, she asked his top 5 QBs. His reply was instant, but not surprising. Graham said, “Jalen Hurts in my book is a top five quarterback. He won a Super Bowl like he automatically goes up there. I don’t care what team like who did what it’s like look all year all playoffs, he (was) the one that grabbed the ball first. He has to hand it off, his mechanics, all the little things that you don’t think about.” That’s right.

Jalen Hurts first reached the Super Bowl LXII in 2022 against the Chiefs. But they tasted defeat by 35-38. It was a brutal loss. Still, he picked up his players with confidence. There wasn’t an iota of rejection. The confidence came through the roster. Additionally, the Eagles weren’t winning games by whiskers. In fact, during the NFC Championship game against the Commanders, they created history with a 55-23 win, the most points in a conference championship game.

It made the veteran compare Jalen Hurts to Patrick Mahomes as he added, “I’mma go just straight that for this year he got to be number one. He won against the GOAT.” The league can declare the 9th of February as the day of heartbreak. It’s not about the Super Bowl. But the Chiefs were on a 3-peat chance. Rumors were strong that their star TE Travis Kelce would propose to his billionaire GF Taylor Swift, but everything flopped.

The Eagles smashed the Chiefs Kingdown in half. It was a dominance no one had ever anticipated.

Jalen Hurts & co. vs Chiefs – An unforgettable mockery

As both sides played the game, there were some unusual scenes on the sidelines. Patrick Mahomes, Kelce, and DT Chris Jones had tears in their eyes. They watched in disbelief as the Eagles ran play after play. For those of you who don’t know, the Eagles were ahead by 34-0 till the 43rd minute in the game. Jalen Hurts and others rejoiced as their rookie CB Cooper DeJean intercepted Patrick Mahomes’ pass and scored a touchdown. A pick six! It was unbelievable.

Brandon Graham also laughed when Kay Adams asked him about the victory. He revealed his feelings and commented, “We was on the sideline, trying to hold it in too, cuz it’s just like we felt good going into this game because we had a great week. When it started happening I mean man we just that’s why we tried to stay low level.

However, it was a roller coaster of emotions for the Philly team. They started with caution, trying to find space to rush the ball. But when they scored and had a 24-0 at half-time, fans were on Cloud 9. At one point in the game, it looked like the Chiefs would suffer a shutout loss. Shoulders dropped, with scattered defense and aimless offense, they were lost in the game. Almost all the naysayers were happy. The Chiefs couldn’t become the first team to achieve a 3-peat.

But Jalen Hurts acknowledged the Grim Reaper’s greatness as he said after the game, “I have a lot of respect for Pat, for everything he has achieved in his career. It’s always a pleasure to compete against him.” This year is the revenge tour for the Chiefs. Will we see a clash between the two? It might settle the debate for good.
