The wide receiver was reading a book on the sideline! Yeah, you read that right. Fans may not have seen this often, but AJ Brown was reading a book. He also revealed the book’s name and why he was reading it. But before revealing that, how the Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has reacted to it is worth knowing. When reporters asked him about the unique habit of the Eagles #11, his response was, “I’ve never seen him read… I’ve seen the book in his hands. Everybody has a different thing and finds their flow in different ways. That’s how he chooses to do it.”That was a funny take. Reporters thought Brown was reading because he was too frustrated to play. So he reacted, “I wasn’t frustrated at all. I figured that’s what y’all probably thought. Why do you always think I would be frustrated? Dang. I like to read.” That’s something new about him.

He was reading ‘Inner Excellence’ by Jim Murphy. Brown has himself shared what was the book about. He has said, “[it is about to] train your mind for extraordinary performance and the best possible life.” That’s inspiring! And if this is the direction where WR’s likes are going, maybe that’s why he has performed so well this season.

Brown has scored a total of seven touchdowns this season, for which he is ranking 21st among all the WRs in the league. Apart from this, he is 17th in yards (1079-yard) and has made a total of 67 receptions this season. And talking about his contribution in the wild card game, AJ Brown has said, “I feel good. It didn’t show up in the stats, but I did a lot today for my teammates.” Well, in the wild-card game, his stats didn’t look inspired at all (1 reception in 10 yards, huh).

But as the Eagles have clinched a spot to fight at the divisional round, fans would look forward to some more inspired performance in the Divisional round. The Super Bowl will be the ultimate goal, but fingers crossed for now.
