Jackson Mahomes’ recent social media post offers a glimpse into the childhood he shared with his brother, Patrick Mahomes, and their mother, Randi Mahomes. “Being a mother is my favorite thing… it’s hard, but it is my favorite thing,” she once shared, reflecting on her journey. This sentiment echoes through the childhood photo shared by Jackson.

The image, a simple yet powerful representation of their family’s love, was captioned, “Happy Mother’s Day!” It shows a young Randi, vibrant and smiling, holding Jackson in her arms, with Patrick standing right in front of her. Both the lads were in matching yellow T-shirts with black and blue stripes. It’s a moment frozen in time, yet alive with its memories.

While Randi Mahomes can be seen staring at the camera, her kids were surely distracted as they seemed engrossed in looking at their surroundings. The QB can be seen sporting a cheeky smile with his hands in his pockets. After Patrick Mahomes re-shared this post from Jackson, Randi expressed her gratitude by dropping a heartfelt, “I love you ❤️” in the comments section.

Further, Randi’s youngest child, Mia, also wished her mother by posting pictures from a recent NBA game they watched together. These pictures and wishes serve as a reminder of how Randi Mahomes has often been vocal about her journey as a mother.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Randi reflected on her life as a young mother. She shared that having Patrick at a young age was challenging but ultimately rewarding, as it forced her to grow up and take responsibility.

Randi described Patrick as her “little best friend,” emphasizing how their bond was strengthened as they navigated life together from the very beginning. Further, despite the age differences among her three children- Patrick, Jackson, and Mia- Randi has fostered a close-knit family dynamic, with each sibling sharing a special relationship with their mom.

This also draws eyes to the recent post that Randi uploaded, celebrating the matriarchs in her family and the important role they have historically played and still continue to play in the households.

It was an old picture of the Chiefs QB, along with his mom, Brittany, Jackson, Debbie, and Mia, that brought back a sense of nostalgia. The image potentially looks to be back from when Patrick Mahomes was still in college, showing how close-knit their family always has been.

These posts are more than just pictures: It’s a reminder that behind the success and the spotlight, there’s a foundation of love and support that starts with the family. As Randi once said, “I had someone that needed me.. We were together 24/7, and I learned with him (Patrick),” encapsulating the essence of her role as a mother.
