It’s time for Patrick Mahomes and the men in red to head to Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers and Brock Purdy. The hype for the game is real because the most expensive ticket is going around for about $60k. Also, this will be Mahomes’ fourth Super Bowl appearance in the last five seasons. There have been a lot of ups and downs in the Kansas City Chiefs’ journey, but here they are.
To generate even more hype for the game, Mahomes shared a video on Instagram with the highlights of the AFC championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. The video has it all, from snippets of Brittany Mahomes to jaw-dropping plays. But it’s Jackson Mahomes’ comment that caught everyone’s eye.

Mahomes’ video on IG shows the highlights of the game. These significant moments show the picks, touchdowns, fumbles, sacks, and even Brittany Mahomes walking out of the tunnel with her husband. The video is captioned “⏰” and has more than 60k views. The comments on the video don’t stop pouring in, and one comment in particular has everyone’s attention.

Jackson Mahomes’ two-word comment tried to rejuvenate the Chiefs QB’s confidence for the upcoming game. He reaffirmed the captions and wrote, “It’s time!! ⏰” in the comment section. The video is embedded with Mobb Deep’s classic tune, “Shook Ones.” That one song sums up the emotions about the upcoming game perfectly. Or perhaps it’s a slight jab at the Baltimore Ravens because, in the end, they were the “shook ones” despite the naysaying.
At this point, the NFL community is polarized, and there is a vast divide between the Niners and the Chiefs fans. But this time, the Chiefs have an extensive injury list that might become a roadblock in winning the SB LVIII.

The Chiefs have more than 10 injured players on the roster, and the majority of them are their star players. Most of them are practicing fully. Their DT Chris Jones has a quad injury and didn’t practice Wednesday along with the RB Isiah Pacheco, who has an injured toe/ankle. Of course, there is Charles Omenihu, who took a knee injury in the Ravens game and didn’t play the rest of it. He didn’t participate in practice on Wednesday as well. Then there’s Joe Thuney, who has knee problems and has a DNP status.
Along with that, the WR Rashee Rice is going through some ankle complications but was fully active in practice, along with MVS (oblique) and Kadarius Toney (NIR/Personal). This doesn’t stop there because the CB L’Jarius Sneed is also injured in the calf but had limited practice along with Sky Moore (IR).
