The Las Vegas Raiders overturned their 3-game losing streak in the wildest way imaginable. They trounced division rivals Chargers 63-21 and broke a couple of records, keeping them in a check from start to finish. Starting over Jimmy Garoppolo, QB Aidan O’Connell kept management’s trust on him with a 4-touchdown display.
Cornerback Jack Jones had a witty reply in the locker room when reporters asked about his feeling following the win. The cornerback started by praising their defensive coordinator Patrick Graham for making great calls in the last few games. “First of all I want to give it off to coach Simmons… I mean not coach Simmons, coach PG, you know, he made a great call. And just from my personal feelings I’ve been feeling like the last two games he been calling great calls. So I just give kudos to him.”
He then voiced on his own improvement from last week when he let the ball get away. “Can’t let it get away this time, you know what I’m saying. Last week I was maybe a step away.
