Wide Receiver, Mecole Hardman is receiving backlash after the Chiefs’ heartbreaking defeat. Everything was going great for the Kansas City Chiefs this season until this week?s game. The Chiefs came into the game on the back of six back-to-back wins. Their win against the Broncos 19-8 two weeks ago was another feather in their flawless hat. With that win, the Chiefs took their winning streak against the Broncos to 16.

What you all thought to be a stroll in the park for the Chiefs turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Veteran QB, Russell Wilson unleashed himself and registered three TDs in the game. On the other hand, reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes looked a tad out of touch and was not able to secure a single TD for his team. Well, it?s not just Mahomes who is at the receiving end of criticism.

Mahomes put the blame on the stomach pain, but WR Mecole Hardman has no such issues. Hardman was transferred from the Jets to the Chiefs weeks ago and put up a defining performance in last week?s win against the Chargers 31-17. On Sunday, he was put to the test again and was not able to repeat last week?s heroics. Hardman fumbled, and the ball ended up with Drew Sanders at 10-yard line.

In the post-match conference, Andy Reid came to the rescue of the Chief?s new addition. Earlier, Handman Jr. took the blame upon himself for the loss. When Reid was asked about the same, he replied, ?It?s not just Mecole, I mean we all had a piece of this thing?, clearly pointing to many mistakes that were made by the Chiefs. Andy Reid?s comment does inculcate some much-needed confidence before the next week?s big clash.

The Chiefs vs the Dolphins: Clash of the Titans

After this fiasco, the Chiefs have very little time on their hands to get back up and prepare for the next challenge. Patrick Mahomes? side will lock horns with Tua Tagovailoa?s army next Sunday. The Dolphins are one of the favorites to secure a playoff berth this season. They are sailing high on the back of exceptional performances from their keyman Tagovailoa.

To fend off the Dolphins, the Chiefs have to perform at their very best. For this to happen, Patrick Mahomes has to get well soon and make the practice sessions. Also, Hardman Jr. needs to be more careful and keep his confidence in check. The exciting match-up will take place at the Deutsche Bank Park Stadium. The game will begin at 12:30 p.m. next Sunday.
