When asked about his team, and their latest win, Allen expressed his appreciation for his team’s perseverance. He acknowledged the excellent performance of their offensive line and running backs, highlighting James Cook’s impressive scrimmage yards.

Allen also recognized Stefon Diggs for surpassing a thousand yards in four consecutive seasons, a historic achievement for the Bills. Allen further added, “That’s freaking unbelievable but again we’re getting better as the season goes on and I think that’s kind of what we’re built for games like this and you know finding ways and our defense went out there and against a fantastic offense and did their thing so it was a complete team win today.

Additionally, the QB showed respect for Latavius Murray and Ty Johnson, acknowledged the tight ends’ productivity and emphasized the importance of a strong running game, highlighted playing with confidence, praised the effectiveness of past protection, and commended the team’s physical play. He also credited Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott for their contributions to the team’s victory.

On Sunday, the Bills dominated the Cowboys, gaining 351 yards compared to the Cowboys’ 195. Buffalo team showcased an impressive running game, accumulating 266 rushing yards, the most allowed by the Cowboys under defensive coordinator Dan Quinn since 2021. Despite a quiet passing game by Josh Allen, RB James Cook stole the spotlight with a career-high 179 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Cook’s exceptional performance made him the first Bills player since 1991 to achieve over 200 scrimmage yards with both rushing and receiving touchdowns in a single game. Cook was at his best day as a pro and later stated, “I just let it rip when I get my opportunity.”

Another highlight was the million-dollar first-quarter sack. The team’s early aggression paid off with a sack on third down by DE Leonard Floyd to force a Dallas punt. The Bills also took advantage of critical Cowboys penalties, converting them into two touchdown-scoring opportunities. Even with a late touchdown by the Cowboys, the Bills maintained control, scoring touchdowns on three of their first four drives.

The Bills’ defense was effective, limiting Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to 134 yards and intercepting a pass. Despite a late touchdown by the Cowboys, their 10 points matched their season low. The game ended in a 21-point shocker from the Bills.
