Brock Purdy is set to make his debut appearance in football’s biggest event this Sunday. As he and the San Francisco 49ers prepare for the Super Bowl LVIII showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas, Purdy addressed the media, discussing the upcoming game and their opponent. He also responded to a humorous question posed by some Niners players a day earlier.
If Purdy can outperform Patrick Mahomes and guide the 49ers to victory in Super Bowl LVIII, he will be recognized as an “elite” NFL quarterback. Despite his skills, Purdy often goes unnoticed because of the formidable 49ers team, but winning the Super Bowl after 29 years could end the debate and bring him the recognition he deserves. Besides that, one thing could bring him fame and support: his tattoo, which Purdy recently called “funny.”

A few hours ago, Deebo Samuel said he would get a tattoo of Brock Purdy’s face anywhere on his body if he is guaranteed a Super Bowl win. This question was then asked to Brock Purdy in the latest pregame press conference of the Niners. Purdy laughed and responded, “Yeah, I think so. Yeah, yeah, I think it’d be funny. I mean, if it’s looking at a tattoo, we can make it pretty small and can get a Super Bowl win out of it.“
The quarterback added, “So I think Deebo told me that actually,” asking whether he would do this. Purdy informed that he said yes to Samuel. However, not only Samuel or Purdy agreed with it; two other players on the team were asked the same question.
Chase Young and Dre Greenlaw were asked whether they were okay with the idea. So, in response, they first laughed and called it “weird” but later agreed to the face tattoo idea.

However, not only a tattoo can help the Niners win over the Chiefs. They must also remember one thing ahead of their Super Bowl LVIII battle.
The 49ers will have to plan something for the Chiefs’ defense!

The Chiefs’ defense this season was phenomenal, and because of that, they rank second after the Browns, with a total of 289.8 defense yards average. Therefore, the 49ers must have a solid plan to block the defensive linemen on their path to a Super Bowl victory.
They need to strategize to block Chiefs’ defensive tackle Chris Jones and devise a plan to thwart defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and his genius defensive approach. Luckily, the 49ers’ offense holds the second rank, giving them an excellent chance to prevail in this battle. It will be a clash between the top two ranks (49ers offense and Chiefs defense) in the league.
