And as the Chiefs get battle-ready to face the San Francisco 49ers, Rice will be an important part of head coach Andy Reid’s plan. The Niners have been resilient in defense throughout the season, but combining with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, Rice could conjure the magic. He could blow open the Niners’ defense as they did against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game.
