As an NFL coach, Mike had a hectic schedule, especially during the football season as his coaching job has over a decade of experience against his name. But even with that, there’s one person who keeps the Rams’ OC grounded and makes all his work possible. We’re talking about his wife, Lauren LaFleur. Mike is as expected rooted to athleticism given his older brother, Matt LaFleur, is the head coach of the Green Bay Packers. Correction: as it turns out, both the brothers are following in their father’s footsteps, who also serves as a head coach at West Middle School in Mount Pleasant. However, LaFleur’s wife is far away from sports but always there to cheer for her husband from the sideline.
Mike LaFleur, who is a native of Mount Pleasant, Mich., is married to Lauren as the couple tied the knot back in July 2010. Yeah, it’s the same year when his brother Matt tied the knot to his long-time girlfriend, BreAnne. However, there’s not much information available on LaFleur’s wife as she chooses to keep her personal life private, similar to her husband.
Mike often mentioned that it’s his family that is most important to him and outside of his work, he only talks to his older brother, Matt. Together, Mike and Lauren have two children and the couple has decided to keep their children away from the spotlight. While Mike is out there preparing for the divisional round against the Eagles, surely, Lauren will be present to cheer her husband along with her kids.

While Mike’s dad, Danny LaFleur is the head coach at West Middle School in Mount Pleasant, his mom, Kristi LaFleur served as a softball and basketball coach. And that’s not all from his mom’s side. Krisi also coached the track and cheerleading teams at Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Talk about a family who’s been shaping young talents for generations.

However, being the parents of two NFL coaches, Danny and Kristi sometimes may find it tough to cheer for both their sons. However, Kristi has some otherwise thoughts. “It’s different because I’m the mom, and as a mom, you want your kids to be happy,” Kristi stated when asked about supporting both her sons. Surely, there must be pretty much friendly rivalries in the family.

Speaking of the family, Mike’s family got even bigger cheers to his two nephews, Ty and Luke—both are Matt’s boys from his wife, BreAnne. As Matt is also busy with his demanding job of head coaching the Packers, BreAnne shared some moments when Matt returns home after a football season. “it’s amazing … to see him go from this passionate football coach and coming home and doing nothing but wrestling with my kids, and having a great time,” BreAnne said. “Always a smile on his face. He’s just an absolute people person, and that’s what I love most about him.”
All in all, whether he’s busy with his hectic job while being an offensive coordinator for the Rams or a brother to a head coach of the Packers, Mike LaFleur is also a complete family man.
