After the loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reports emerged that an emotional Kelce had retired in the locker room. However, Kelce later did not comment on these reports. With the 36-year-old announcing a press conference, is he going to accept or deny these reports?

Jason Kelce will talk about his future

Previously on his podcast ‘New Heights’, Kelce narrated to his brother the heartbreaking loss. “Everybody put a lot of hard work in”, said the elder sibling. However, he did not comment on his future with the Eagles. Now Kelce has announced on X (previously Twitter)!

“I have come to a decision and will address it at a press conference this afternoon”, wrote Kelce on the social media platform. And the fans are holding their hearts in their hands waiting for the 7X Pro Bowler’s decision.

Before the beginning of the last season, Kelce had signed a one-year contract with the Eagles. Potentially signaling his retirement, but the powerful center could conclude that the Eagles need him. Especially after the epic collapse that the team suffered last season!

The Eagles are in a desperate position

After winning the NFC Championship and giving a tough fight to the Kansas City Chiefs for the Super Bowl in the 2022-23 season, much was expected from the Eagles. They went on to register a 5-game winning streak twice, but ended up losing 6 of their last 7 games!

With 13 years of professional football under him, Kelce has given everything to the game and the Eagles. Now that head coach Nick Sirianni could maintain his position at the top. It is expected that the Eagles’ star has been asked for one last dance!
