Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce are the ones who usually come to mind when we think of brothers in the NFL. Earlier, the most famous brother duo was Peyton Manning and Eli Manning. But times have changed, and we see many siblings evolve into NFL duos. In the same spirit, James Cook and Dalvin Cook have been focal points of the NFL these days, probably because they play the same position.

A video from some time ago features James Cook in an interview about the upcoming games. Interestingly, the reporter touches on the topic of his brother, and things just go from there. Being NFL bros, trash talk is common with these boys, and the younger brother lets it be known to the interviewer.

Right off the bat, he was asked if he felt any difference between last year?s first game of the season and this year’s. Cook says he is more focused and locked this year and is just being ?sharp.??James focuses on getting better every game, which is his mantra for the season. His coach also vouches for James and feels he doesn’t need to score a ?home run? in every game.

James Cook mentions that he takes what?s given to him at this point and tries to make the best out of it. Though he doesn?t expect the rewards, they sure are big. The conversation then takes a turn toward his brother, Dalvin Cook. He mentions that it?s always a good feeling to play against his older brother, and they also have the support of their family. Because both brothers play the same position, they always get into brotherly trash talk, as James Cook mentioned.

They obviously have a background story that needs some looking into.

The dynamic running backs

His brother, Dalvin Cook, is signed to the New York Jets also as a running back. His stats are not as promising as James Cook?s. The whole Jets franchise is struggling right now, and Dalvin has to put in power-packed performances. They have a warm-hearted, healthy rivalry amongst themselves. James credited his older brother, who prepared him to transition to the NFL, and he also learned the tips and tricks of the game from his elder brother. The good ol? trash talk maintains healthy competition among the brothers.
