In the early off-season, promotions took place in the Baltimore Ravens. One of the promoted players was Ar’Darius Washington. He became the no. 3 safety on the Ravens’ roster. Head Coach John Harbaugh praised the athlete and declared that he would be getting more game time in 2024. It came true but with a twist.
The week 3 game against the Dallas Cowboys game was a tough one. Ar’Darius Washington rushed toward Dak Prescott but slipped. He didn’t show any discomfort while going to the sidelines. However, he didn’t suffer any major injury and returned to the field. But his performance was lackluster.
Ar’Darius Washington walks off without much discomfort. No medical tent visit, either. Looks like he just rolled his ankle.

In 2023, he only had 6 tackles and defended 2 passes. Today, Ar’Darius Washington was his best. He was involved in 3 straight incomplete passes. During the 4th quarter, the safety failed to intercept the pass to KaVontae Turpin, which ended in a touchdown. But the Cowboys couldn’t win and lost by 25-28. With this, the Ravens got their first win of the season.
Fans were ecstatic with the victory and pleased with the safety’s performance. One fan was happy at Washington’s game skills and wrote, “Ar’Darius Washington is having a heck of a game.” Another fan wondered why the player didn’t have more playing time and wrote, “Why doesn’t Ar’Darius Washington play more?”

Ravens annihilated America’s team in a brute display of power and skills. Though the highest-paid quarterback (Dak Prescott) performed wonderfully, the Ravens’ defense stopped them in their tracks while the offense tore them apart in the first 3 quarters. Prescott had 28 of 51 passes with 379 yards and 2 touchdowns, but the rivals were in a different mood.
At the end of the first quarter, they were leading with 14-3. The gap widened to 21-6 by the halftime. When 3rd quarter ended, Ravens sat comfortably at a score of 28-6. A late brace by Cowboys did close the gap to 28-25 , however, they couldn’t finish the game in their favor. Ar’Darius Washington and defensive teammates didn’t allow them to find their rhythm.
