Aaron Rodgers is getting hit with more bad luck than a fumbled snap on the 1-yard line! Just as the Jets were making waves with a trade, A-Rod’s health is back in the limelight—and nope, it’s not looking pretty.
NFL insider Rich Cimini dropped a bombshell: Rodgers is now juggling knee, ankle, and hamstring injuries. He’s been downgraded to walkthrough practice mode. Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich spilled the beans that the 40-year-old’s hammy “flared up” during the loss to Pittsburgh, even slowing him down when he might’ve scrambled for some extra yards. “Aaron Rodgers is listed with knee, ankle and hamstring injuries and will be limited today (only a walk through). The hamstring “flared up” vs Pitt, per Ulbrich, who says it may have compromised his mobility on a few plays in which he could’ve scrambled,” Cimini’s tweet read.

Rodgers has been banged up for weeks. He’s been dealing with a low ankle sprain, lingering from New York’s London loss to the Vikings—and admitted his knee swelled up after facing Denver.
The Jets aren’t helping matters much either. Their O-line’s been shakier than a rookie kicker in crunch time. The Super Bowl XLV champ’s on pace to be sacked over 41 times this season—his highest since 2018.
Luckily, New York’s next opponent is the 1-6 Patriots. The team’s been softer than a pillow fight (according to their own coach). Expect Breece Hall to take the wheel, especially after racking up 141 all-purpose yards against the Steel City.
The real kicker, though? The Jets just pulled off a stunner by trading for Rodgers’ old buddy, Davante Adams.

Can the Rodgers-Adams reunion save the Jets, or are injuries too big a hurdle?

Guess who’s back in the Big Apple—and bringing a whole lot of sauce? Adams just reunited with his old QB pal Rodgers, but this time, it’s all about that Jets green.
New York ditched Robert Saleh and swung a trade for Adams, giving up a conditional third-rounder in 2025 (but if the Jets make it to the AFC Championship, Super Bowl, or Adams goes All-Pro? That pick bumps up to a second-rounder).
Adams has been nursing a hamstring for three games, but he hopped on The Pat McAfee Show to set the record straight. “Feeling great… I’ll be ready to roll,” he casually dropped, and Jets fans are buzzing.

Oh, and the Jets? They’re shouldering the heavy $11.6M bill this season, but hey, they’ve reworked the deal to smooth out next year’s cap hit.
Rodgers + Adams reunion? The Jets just hit the jackpot. Buckle up.
