Have the Chiefs finally cracked the code to winning? It’s been hidden from no one that the Chiefs’ offense has done abysmally this season. Just maybe, they have found how to make the offense work again.

However, implementing the scheme will be a task in itself. It’s something that worked for them during the Cincinnati Bengals outing. Will they be able to replicate it during their first playoff game?

The Dolphins‘ offense has stunned everyone this year. And everyone agrees they play on another level. They are masters of complicated offense. Or is it just the illusion of complexity? When they played against Cincinnati, they recorded their second best yards per offensive snap output of 2023. How did that happen? They shortened the play-calls. As simple as that. Additionally, the squad made Patrick Mahomes more mobile. Till the Bengals game, Mahomes had an average of just 2.1 rollouts per game. In the Bengals game, it went up more than double that at 5!

The Chiefs also need to be allowed more time to survey the defense. When the 40-second timer starts counting down, they should be at the line of scrimmage. Why? In a game of football, a few seconds can make or break the game. The additional seconds will afford them more time to study the defense. And that’s exactly what happened in that game. They reached the line of scrimmage within 30 seconds every single time.

The players were all in position. The ball was about to be snapped. Just then, Rashee Rice surveyed the defense and quickly changed his position to one that was not pre-designed. And that ended in a winning drive. However, can the Chiefs implement these changes in their strategies going forward and win the Wild Card Round?
