The Buffalo Bills became the second team to clinch a playoff berth this season, after the Kansas City Chiefs. However, this achievement was once judged by the former teammate of Josh Allen—Stefon Diggs.

Yes! After Josh Allen’s Bills clinched the playoff berth and secured the AFC East Championship, MLFootball shared a celebratory banner. In the picture, Allen stands proudly in front of his team, with “AFC East Champions (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024)” displayed on the image. But the interesting twist is here!

This X account decided to reference Stefon Diggs’s earlier comment, where he questioned, “You sure?” about the team’s success without him. In response, the team captioned their post with: “WE ARE ALL VERY SURE.” Woah! That’s some subtle shade, as the current Texans WR gets reminded of his bold statement.

Talking about the start of this story, it happened in April, the Bills were speculated to trade Stefon Diggs to some other team. Hence, Robert Griffin III tried to answer the question, “Is Stefon Diggs essential to Josh Allen’s success?” To which the quarterback said on X, “He has been since he got to Buffalo in 2020. They are better together and if Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen stay together with the Buffalo Bills this year, their Championship window is WIDE OPEN.” Now, many agree with this fact.

However, there were still a few who had different perspectives. For instance, a Bills fan answered the same question by stating, “Does Josh benefit from having a top-tier receiver? Yes. Is he essential to his success? No.” Now, this comment on Diggs didn’t sit well with the WR, who replied on April 3, “You sure?” But little did he know that this comment would be taken up in the future, to give him a harsh reply.

Nevertheless, as Diggs is with the Texans now, and is also out due to his season-ending Achilles, some Bills fans are delighting at the moment.

After leaving Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs is reportedly cooked

There is no doubt that Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen were good together. In total, via StatMuse, “Diggs has had 445 catches for 5,372 yards and has scored 37 touchdowns in 66 games with Josh Allen in his career.” It’s indeed a good stat for the duo. As for the QB, Diggs was almost always the first target. But as things started falling apart, the two separated due to contract issues. And now, Diggs is with Houston. However, his earlier comment on Allen not succeeding without him has definitely dragged him into trouble.

Hence, after MLFootball’s new Champions post, The Detroit Times said, “Cooked him (with skull emojis).” Besides it, some other fans chimed in, laughing at Diggs’s moment, with—“COOK THAT BUM” or “COOK (laughing emojis).” However, that’s not all. Someone even spoke about the WR’s over-confidence by saying, “cook that keyboard warrior.” In addition to that, many laughed by writing “lol” and “Confidence speaks volumes—let’s see what’s next!” on the Texans’s player. Besides them, there were many who thought that this was actually posted by the Bills team. Hence, they replied with being puzzled—“I thought the Bills tweeted this for a sec I was bouta lose my mind lmfaoo,” or “Damn, dug up an old tweet and ate him up.

Yes! Stefon Diggs was cooked, and also his haters ate him up! Nevertheless, some are even praying that the Texans, too, come up in the playoffs and have a battle against the Bills. Well, that definitely sounds interesting.
