Russell Wilson continues to invest his free time in an incredible cause! Seemingly, the Pittsburgh Steelers QB has learned to handle adverse situations optimistically. Despite being inactive due to his serious calf injury during the ongoing season, Russell, 35, has shown incredible off-field efforts that have won millions of hearts. This Tuesday, Mr. Unlimited once again brought immense pleasure to kids in Pittsburgh Hospital.

Wilson, who remains sidelined from the Steelers’ Week 3 game, recently, made a heartwarming visit to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Taking to his official Instagram handle, the NFL’s greatest dual-threat quarterbacks of all time, re-shared the interesting glimpses of his pediatric hospital visit.

Clearly, amidst the tough time, Wilson looked optimistic as he was spotted posing with the sick children. And, the kids also looked happy while holding the signed ‘Terrible Towels’ of the Steelers.

As the Super  Bowl Champion continues his cause for hospitals, the hospital staff is also grateful for his immense support. Along with sharing the multiple pictures, featuring  Wilson with the kids, the Children’s Hospital expressed their deep regard and gratitude to the Steelers’ backup QB. “Tuesdays with Russell! Another wonderful afternoon with our awesome friend @dangerusswilson. We appreciate his support always!” they mentioned in their post.

However, this is not the first time, that Wilson’s generosity was highlighted. The NFL player has a history of visiting the pediatric hospital often. Last week, former Seattle Seahawks QB also delighted the Steelers patient with his visit with his singer wife, Ciara. After their heartfelt visit, the “Goodies” singer re-shared the Children’s Hospital’s gratitude post on her Instagram handle and expressed her love for the kids by dropping multiple red heart emojis.

While overjoyed with Wilson’s support, on September 17, UPMC  shared a lovely sneak peek of their visit, adding a touchy caption on Instagram. “Today, our newest friends to the ‘Burgh, @dangerusswilson and @ciara stopped by to visit patients @childrenspgh – our families were overjoyed with happiness to have the opportunity to spend some quality time with both of them,” they mentioned in their post.

Even while sidelined from games, 9-time Pro Bowler Russell Wilson has been using his time to visit young patients, showing his optimism despite dealing with a health setback. Not only has his generosity delighted many, but the way he has been giving shout-outs to his Steelers teammates is also leaving an impact. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers have continued to rock with his season-opening grand 3-0 win. Despite being inactive, his enthusiasm for the team has won millions of hearts.

Recently, Wilson adored his team by re-sharing the Steelers post, as they emerged as the “Number One team defense” throughout week 3. Exhilarated, Wilson addressed his team as“ defense dominant !!!” Not only this, previously, Russell Wilson celebrated the team’s 20-10 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers through his social media. He gave a big applause to his teammates by tagging them in his IG post.

Wilson cherished the great moment by tagging Spencer Anderson, Dan Moore Jr., James Daniels, and Zach Frazier. However,  Justin Fields, currently serving as the starting quarterback was not mentioned in Wilson’s post. Amidst, Field’s impressive performance, it seems that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is not in the mood to bring back Russell Wilson as their starting quarterback for the next Steelers match against the Indianapolis Colts.

“Because there’s no need. I explained to you the variables of the week. That has not changed, Sometimes in this business, there’s a myriad of complex decisions to be made. I make them when it’s appropriate. When we have a decision to make, I’ll make it and I’ll be transparent,” Tomlin stated. Hence, fans will have to wait for longer before they get to see Wilson play with the Steelers again, as he takes his time off to recover faster.
