If Monday had a face, surely the Raiders fans would be giving it a side-eye right about now! Are the Raiders losing a game? Yeah, that’s been happening a lot this season. But, how often do we encounter Maxx Crosby missing out on a game? Zero, zip, nada! But hey, it wasn’t personal drama but a season-ending ankle injury that the big guy sustained in week 14.
Let’s have a breath of fresh air, shall we? Standing at 6’5” and 255 pounds, the Raiders’ DE took to his Instagram handle and shared a post for the fans to cheer, captioning, “Everything Happens For A Reason… This Bounce Back Will Be Iconic.” Well, honestly, it’s still up in the air whether the Raiders fans should be happy about this or not. For 2025? Yeah, surely they can.
If you’ve been following the Las Vegas team lately, sure there are some pointers. Like, apart from Crosby, QB’s Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell were both out with season-ending injuries, so things were already pretty grim. To make matters worse, the Raiders lost again – their 12th of the season. That’s a whole lot of losing!

But what stands out among all this is the DE. Once Again! When you dig out his ‘X’ after the game, you’ll find many things. But here’s the kicker, “…..” that’s it, you’ll find these five dots grabbing all the spotlight. Now, what do we know? what have we learned?
Well, many Raiders fans have speculated that he’s hinting towards the team needing a new QB. And let’s be honest, the Las Vegas team has been struggling in this department for a while now. Whether it’s Minshew, O’Connell, or Desmond Ridder, none of those guys are looking like long-term options for the team.

Now let’s talk the big picture here. The big guy took to his ‘X’ handle and literally shared five periods and nothing else. And of course, fans went wild with the speculations that the Raiders might be looking for a new QB. And here’s where things get interesting.
The Raiders are currently in contention with the New York Jets for the #1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft. And if they land that top spot, they are likely going to take Shedeur Sanders, the QB from the Colorado Buffaloes. Yeah, the same guy who’s been making waves all season long. To spice things up, his dad and the Buffaloes coach, Deion Sanders have already had a word with the Raiders’ HC, Antonio Pierce to draft his son in the squad.
