Finally, a relief for the Dallas Cowboys and the backup QB, Cooper Rush. The Cowboys are buzzing with energy after a thrilling win yesterday against the Panthers. Well, keeping aside the offense for a second, it’s the defensive juggernaut, Micah Parsons, who grabbed the spotlight. Once Again! Parsons is no stranger to setting the bar high, and this season, he’s made his ambitions crystal clear.

In a recent statement, the linebacker stated yearning for greatness, “I want something greater. I want a Super Bowl. I’m in my prime. I feel like I’m untouchable right now.” And honestly, can you blame him? Because these ain’t just talk. Parsons’ dominating performance on the field throughout the season backs them up.

But you know what is frustrating amidst this? It’s Jerry Jones and the Cowboys’ performance this season. Well, there’s no doubt the Cowboys are on a borderline to make it to the playoffs. But if you’re in your prime, at the end of the day, it’s not just the wins that you crave, but the title as well. “(Team success) brings everything else. I said I want an unofficial no one ever to wear No. 11 (again). You know what I got to do for that? I gotta win some titles,” Parsons stated, wishing more wins this season for the Cowboys.

However, amid these aspirations, the star linebacker finds himself at the center of ongoing trading rumors. While the rumors on his trade are swirling around, Parsons remains laser-focused on his task at hand.

He acknowledged the business side of the league, stating, “There are no hard feelings in this business, whether I’m here or anywhere else. Obviously, I’ve stated that I want to be here. But at the end of the day, I understand the business side.”

Have an interesting take?

Cooper ‘rushed’ when it mattered most. Against all the odds and criticism for his previous performances this season, the backup QB proved that even without Dak Prescott, the Cowboys can rise to the occasion. The 31-year-old veteran really showed off, tossing 214 yards and hitting a career-best three touchdowns.

Although the QB did lose a fumble but his heroics were key in the dominant 30-14 triumph over the Panthers. On the flip side, Micah Parsons was back to his best and did exactly what we all expected. Parsons recorded two sacks and helped the Cowboys bring down the Panther’s rookie QB, Bryce Young, six times in total. Well, he didn’t stop there. He thrashed the offense of the Carolina team after generating eight pressures on 32 pass-rush attempts.

If we put the standings aside for a second, the number 11 is turning out to be a nightmare for the opposing offense. And let’s not forget what he stated on his trading rumors, “I’m just gonna keep playing hard while I’m here. If I’m here for the next 5-6 years, I’m gonna keep playing hard then too. Ain’t nothing really gonna make a difference, Micah is gonna play hard.”
