Aaron Rodgers received a lot of hate after leaving the Packers and joining the New York Jets. Well, that was just the beginning of things as Rodgers would take a season-ending hit post that, shattering the dreams of his team and the fans to watch him play under a different name. Since then, Rodgers has been trying to beat the suggested recovery time and it seems like he is succeeding.
He mentioned earlier that he wanted to make his return by December. However, that might not be possible, given the nature of his Achilles injury. Amidst highlighting his progress on the recent Pat McAfee show episode, Rodgers was quick to back a past decision on the COVID-19 vaccine, calling it the “right side of history.”

The excerpt started with McAfee pointing out that A-Rod has been under major fire because he did not choose to get COVID-19 vaccination in the past and was vocal about it. Rodgers chuckled as McAfee brought up the controversial topic. He was asked about how his “body was doing,” receiving a simple answer from the QB, “I feel great, the body feels great.”

While Rodgers pointed out that he sees Stephen A. Smith in the studio getting “jocked” and “eating right” and joked about how he should be talking about his fitness escapades, the attention soon shifted to his comment on vaccines a few years back. He revealed, “But as I sit here today, I feel like I’m definitely on the right side of history and went through a lot of s*** for an opinion that was my own you know personal belief based on my body.”
McAfee applauded Rodgers’ stance on taking a stand for himself and not getting vaccinated. Even the other members of the studio seemed to back Rodgers for doing what he felt was right rather than following the steps of others.
