In a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Joe Flacco, the Cleveland Browns quarterback, shared insights into his current season experiences. The interview created a buzz amongst fans and sports commentators. However, before his appearance on the show, Flacco showcased his remarkable talent on the field.

He led the Browns to a stunning 34-20 victory against the New York Jets. Flacco’s statistics were clearly impressive and commendable. He completed 16 of 22 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns. Undoubtedly, it resulted in an outstanding passer rating of 135.4. After the game, he shared his thoughts about his experience this season on the show.

Flacco’s teammates think of him as a 60-year-old

On the Pat McAfee Show, Joe Flacco recently engaged in a conversation about the nicknames that tend to emerge when new players join a team. Connor, one of the show’s hosts, mentioned several nicknames that had been suggested for Flacco, including “Cool Joe 2.0,” “Gray Joe,” “Snoozy Joe,” and the unique “Footsteps Flo,” which Connor claimed to have created.

Flacco displayed a sense of amusement towards it and took it lightly. He said, “Yeah, I don’t think so, man. You have to ask, you could probably ask [David] Njoku and stuff like that what some of the guys are saying.” He further added, “It’s crazy just the way they look at you they look at me like I’m like 60 years old. So, who knows what the nicknames are, I’m sure they’ll keep coming in and hopefully everybody has fun with it.”

Despite his attempts to avoid looking at such content, he admitted that he ends up seeing it all. He didn’t forget to mention that he genuinely enjoys the fun and camaraderie it brings to the team environment. Flacco has been essential for the Browns this season and has managed to deliver amazing performances.

At the outset of the season, Joe Flacco was on the sidelines and not in the starting lineup. However, his recent display for the Browns has been nothing short of stunning. He has achieved becoming the second-oldest quarterback. This follows in the footsteps of the GOAT Tom Brady.

With an impressive tally of nine touchdowns in just four games, Flacco’s contributions have clearly boosted the Browns’ record. Undoubtedly, Cleveland had to reward him. Guess what? They did, with a substantial contract including $75,000 for each remaining regular season win.

Not only that, he also  managed to get substantial bonuses for playoff victories, including a $2 million bonus for a Super Bowl victory.
