Taylor Swift finally got one joke from the red carpet that she can enjoy. Tay-Tay is attending the Grammys at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The football joke didn’t leave her here, either.

Swift will have a tight schedule this week, starting with the second leg of her International Eras Tour from February 7 to February 10 in Tokyo, Japan. Furthermore, she will likely attend Super Bowl LVIII to cheer for Travis Kelce on February 11 in Las Vegas. Ahead of all this, she is attending the Grammys today, and finally, it was an event that she doesn’t regret attending.

Taylor Swift has been nominated for six Grammys tonight, including for her popular album “Midnights.” She graced the Grammy’s red carpet wearing a white gown, an off-the-shoulder neckline, and a floor-sweeping hemline. Swift enhanced her look with black elbow-length gloves and a black choker necklace. During her appearance at the event, the Grammys’ host, Trevor Noah, took a shot at the football fans who were pissed off with Swift’s repeated appearances on the football field.

Noah took playful revenge on them with a joke, saying, “I think it is so unfair how NFL fans have been complaining about the cameras panning to Taylor Swift, like she’s controlling the cameras at the game. Just let her live.” He continued, “In fact, tonight, on Taylor’s behalf, you know what I’m going to do? I’m gonna give her a break. Every time they mention Taylor Swift, I’m gonna get revenge. Every time someone says Taylor Swift, I’m gonna cut the cameras to someone who played football, that’s what I’ll do. Cut!

The moment Noah said “cut,” the cameras quickly panned towards Terry Crews, who, before his retirement, played defensive end and linebacker in the league. The host then quickly added, “Oh yeah, you like that Terry Crews?” and asked him to fix his face as the cameras would be panning towards him from time to time whenever anyone in the event said “Taylor Swift.” This brought laughter in the room, and even Swift enjoyed the joke.

This was the second joke on Taylor Swift’s NFL appearance, but it made her day, unlike the one she faced during her Golden Globes appearance.

During her Golden Globes appearance last month, comedian Jo Koy’s joke didn’t impress Taylor Swift. Koy joked, “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? On the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift.” Soon after the jokes were completed, the cameras turned towards Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Swift, who was seen pursing her lips before taking a sip from her drink.

The singer also gave the comedian an icy stare, which clearly revealed that she wasn’t taking this “joke” as a joke. According to multiple reports, Swift is generally screen-timed around 16 times in Chiefs’ games, which is much less when we compare it with the three-and-a-half-hour broadcast. Even NFL analyst Colin Cowherd shed light on this matter, backing Swift at her game appearances.

Nevertheless, despite the continuous hatred and anger directed towards Taylor Swift’s screen times during the Kansas City Chiefs games, the “unaffected” singer will likely attend Travis Kelce’s last game of the season, the Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
