Returning to an old team is an unmatchable feeling. Ask veteran defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul! The DE Paul signed with the New Orleans Saints practice squad about a week ago. While things were looking great for him, the football player’s recent update just revealed him exiting the side.

Now, he reportedly is expected to be all set to return to the Miami Dolphins. With his arrival, he will be filling in the void of the injured Jaelan Phillips. Sharing his happiness and acknowledgment for the Saints, Paul took to social media to write a note for the franchise.

A hard decision to make!

The defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul thanked the Saints for the short opportunity after his reported signing with the Fins’ active roster, per Ian Rapoport. Sounding utterly grateful, Paul wrote, “I would like to thank the New Orleans Saints and the organization for giving me the opportunity to play for them, I can’t even lie it was a hard decision to make.

Additionally, he even thanked all the guys in the Saints locker room for being extremely accepting and welcoming toward him. He further extended his gratitude to the coaches of the side, who for him showed great support and belief in him during the whole period he spent with the New Orleans side.

In the last part of his post, speculations turned up with proof, as he remarked, “I’m coming home,” adding a dolphin emoticon. Paul, who signed with the Saints practice squad, recorded two tackles on 17 snaps on Sunday and lost to the Atlanta Falcons. His performance draws questions as to how the football player will play out for the Phins.

Phillips is out for the season due to his Achilles tear. In the absence of him, Paul’s addition will bring a valuable addition to the Phins’ defensive lineup in South Beach. However, only time will tell whether Pierre-Paul’s presence will work wonders for the team or not.
