As the Chiefs are gearing up for Super Bowl LVIII, Andy Reid finds himself reflecting on the invaluable guidance he received from his parents when he was younger. Reid revealed how he was a pretty inquisitive-natured person, and now resonates profoundly as he faces speculation about his coaching future. “You’ll know when it’s time, let’s go. I’m ready to go right now,” his parents told him.

Reid now cherishes this wisdom, emphasizing, “That’s what they would tell me…Somewhere you’re going to know when it’s time. Today’s not the day.” Furthermore, Reid’s dedication is palpable as he speaks of the organization’s greatness and how he and the team have had many collective victories. Yet, he remained focused on the journey ahead. Reid praised the Chiefs saying, “It’s a great organization. And then we’ve won some games, but we’ve got to keep going. We’ve got to keep after this thing.”

He also mentioned how he looks forward to coaching every day as he loves being a part of the organization. Also, these rumors of Reid retiring have been quite popular. So much so, the Chairman of the team Clark Hunt also chimed in with his perspective on Reid’s retirement.
