It’s week 14. The Rams just upset the Bills with a 44-42 victory. But it was Josh Allen who just lit up the SoFi Stadium. He had a personal achievement in the game with 3 passing and 3 rushing touchdowns. It’s great. However, the loss made the quarterback upset.

During the post-game conference, he didn’t smile even for a second and looked tense while calling out himself and the O-line while saying, “Just trying to go out there and execute the play goal to the best of our ability and we didn’t do that well enough tonight. I don’t know the stats. I don’t know how well we were on the 3rd down or completion percentage or I just know it wasn’t good enough to win a football game. So again total team loss. We didn’t play to our standard.” If not for his historical performance, you have to praise him for being a total team player.

However, the history changed in the rivalry. The Bills had not lost a game to the Rams since Josh Allen arrived at the franchise in 2018. But it’s not his fault only. The O-line needed to assist him in a better way. The Rams kept the ball for 38 minutes 30 seconds while the Bills only had possession for 21 minutes 30 seconds. Even in the 3rd down efficiency, the Rams outpaced them with 11 of 15 (73.3%) while the Bills only had 5 of 9 attempts (55.5%).

Among the quarterbacks, the Bills QB was better. While the Rams QB Matthew Stafford had 23 of 30 passes (76.6% completion rate) in 320 passing yards with 2 touchdowns, Allen had 23 of 37 passes (62.1% completion rate) in 342 passing yards with 3 touchdowns. However, he also had 10 attempts for 82 yards with 3 touchdowns. That’s huge.

In fact, his performance was so impressive that even his rivals were also stunned. It was a magnificent scene during the post-game conference.

During the post-game conference, he again pushed the MVP for Allen and said, “Josh Allen is an Alien. That’s why he’s so respected the way he is.” He’s right there. In 2024, he has 252 of 393 passes (64.1% completion rate) in 3,033 passing yards with 23 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. However, his rushing game has been top-notch. He has 80 attempts for 416 yards with 9 touchdowns. He has scored 1 touchdown even in the receiving as well.
