What a pass that was! Week 5 game ended for the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, October 6. And with a win this time, the Wisconsin team advanced to 3-2 in the NFL standings. The game was so interesting that you couldn’t help but be captivated, especially when Jordan Love made a throw that even startled the quarterback’s girlfriend.
In a recent story on her official Instagram account, Jordan Love’s partner, Ronika Stone, shared the moment in which the Packers’ QB threw a spectacular pass to his wide receiver with a hope for a touchdown in the first quarter. What happened was, in that game, Love threw a 53-yard pass to Jayden Reed in a tight window near the left sideline. Showing his impressive catch, Reed rescued Love’s pass despite being surrounded by three Rams defenders. And that’s not even it!
This catch also looked difficult because Rams’ safety Quentin Lake was almost all over Reed’s back. However, still, the WR managed to catch the pass on second-and-10. Although that pass didn’t lead to a touchdown, Jordan Love and Jayden Reed’s connection at that moment surely blew the minds of Cheeseheads, including Love’s girlfriend, Ronika Stone. Hence, after being stunned at the moment, she shared the story of this play, which was originally posted by the NFL’s official IG page, with a caption: “I’ll never get over this.”

Indeed, that was a splendid one by Jordan Love and Jayden Reed that left their fans in awe! Further in the game, Love “completed his next three passes to Bo Melton for 12, Malik Heath for seven, and an 18-yard pass to Reed.” All these combined efforts helped Jordan Love and his team to win 24-19 over the Rams.
However, although Love’s connection with his receivers were amazing at SoFi Stadium, one could also not forget the crazy moment in which the QB was picked up by the Rams safety, Jaylen McCollough.

However, Love, whose injury provided a $410k boost, scrambled to the back of the end zone in the game. He tried to throw the ball away but was knocked off balance. And then what? Eventually, this led to a desperate throw from Love that Rams’ Jaylen McCollough intercepted. But what came out worst for Love was, this pick by McCollough returned for a touchdown. This resulted in the score at 13-7, giving the Rams the lead they wanted in the second quarter. In addition to that, what makes this TD special was that this Sunday’s play marked the “Rams’ first defensive touchdown since Cobie Durant’s interception return in 2022.”
