The NFL WAGs are on the Taylor Swift bandwagon again. A while ago, Kelly Stafford, wife of the Rams quarterback, called out the NFL for giving too much attention to Taylor Swift. While some of her concerns are viable, it’s not convincing others like Drake Maye’s girlfriend Ann Hudson.
The Patriots QB and his girlfriend have reached a very crucial point in their lives. It’s been 9 years since they’ve been together. Kudos to the couple for that. Maybe that’s why Hudson decided to celebrate the occasion by taking a trip to Indianapolis. But what’s in Indianapolis?
It’s obvious Taylor Swift was in town and Hudson might have wanted to attend the show. She took to the ‘Gram to share her experience of The Eras Tour. The photo on her IG story shows thousands of people at the Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Colts. The singer behind the song “Fortnight” could be seen on the jumbotron with a mic in her hand.

The picture shows the Indianapolis Colts banners hanging at the top but enough about that. Ann Hudson and Drake Maye’s “Love Story” has completed 9 years and to mark the occasion, she uploaded a picture on her Instagram and the message behind it might make your heart melt.
“9 years with you and it keeps getting better everyday❤️ I couldn’t imagine my life with out you as my best friend. I love you more than you know!” That’s what she wrote on her anniversary IG post. The carousel shows the couple hanging out with each other, with huge smiles on their faces.
Remember we said something about Kelly Stafford and Taylor Swift in the beginning? Let’s come back to that now.

Ann is a Swiftie, but Kelly Stafford is not. Apparently, she doesn’t like how the NFL is giving her so much attention and is worried that “hard working” people like her husband are sometimes shy of enough highlights. Her thinking goes beyond Mathew Stafford this time. In fact, the message seems to be a shout out to all the unsung heroes of the league.
“I will say I got tired of the Chiefs’ coverage of it, actually the NFL’s coverage, of this budding relationship last year. And can she do anything about that? No, she can’t I watched my husband work his a-s off and all these guys who work for the league work their a—es off and all of a sudden, they are like the sideshow,” Kelly Stafford admitted on The Morning After Podcast.

In all honesty, Swift’s involvement with Travis Kelce has brought a lot of female viewership to the NFL. However, Matthew Stafford’s daughters see it in a totally opposite way. They are proud of their dad playing a game that Taylor Swift loves. Kelly Stafford confirmed it in the podcast.
“I honestly think my girls are prouder of their dad because he’s playing the sport that Taylor Swift loves,” Kelly Stafford later added. But while Kelly Stafford is trying to make a change in the football world, there are other women who are bringing a new energy to the sport.
