Man-on-man watching a leapfrog in the NFL is already uncommon, and doing so while rushing is unimaginable. Well, Saquon Barkley makes this unimaginable move during Week 9. Everyone’s jaw dropped as the RB took the ball, spun to Dodge, and leapfrogged over another player. This was athleticism at its pinnacle, and it happened so quickly that the fans needed a few seconds to process it.
The RB’s move would bring full humiliation to the Jacksonville Jaguars defense. This was unexpected from Saquon Barkley, and it appears that the man has dazzled not just fans but even another quarterback. Here we’re talking about Tommy DeVito, who just shared an Instagram story for the RB. He shared the clip of the man’s remarkable techniques and praised him: “Your a sick individual.”

This was a fantastic gesture by DeVito, demonstrating how much the quarterback values the game’s best plays. On the other hand, his supporting story lends encouragement to the RB’s comeback. If you rewind the game from this point, you will see how much hatred the man was receiving. When Saquon Barkley came on the field, he was completely demolished by the supporters, as all of them were constantly booing him. However, the man tumbled and got back up as if there was no one greater than him. And this is what you want to see in a football player.
But the greatest thing is that Barkley isn’t bragging about what occurred. His response after the game on the incident was totally humble.

Did Saquon Barkley's leapfrog move redefine what it means to be an NFL running back?
Have an interesting take?
A man is considered down to earth when everyone compliments him while he just thanks God. And the RB has done the same; in the post-game interview, he expressed his gratitude to God. According to Barkley, god took over his body and controlled his instincts rather than himself: “I have got to give credit to God man”
Barkley further expressed, “I feel like God gave me the ability to play this position and gave me some instincts. Sometimes you’ve got to let go and let God and your instincts take over”.

Apart from DeVito, Nick Sirianni, the Eagles’ head coach, appreciated the jump too. The HC felt it was cool and contributed significantly to the team’s success. He stated, “What I think is so cool, is there are going to be kids all over the country and all over Philadelphia — I really think about that — trying to make that play and talking about that play and simulating that play as they play backyard football or Pee Wee football”
Saquon Barkley is receiving a lot of accolades, and we hope he continues to perform as well in the future. Until then, share your opinions on this move.
