The reigning NFC champions Philadelphia Eagles suffered a shock defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And with this loss, potentially comes the end of a storied football career. After the loss, an emotional Jason Kelce bid farewell to his teammates and the game, per reports.
One of the best Centers of his generation, Kelce has been through thick and thin with the Eagles. And even though Kelce didn’t look like slowing down anytime soon, this season has taken a heavy toll on the father of three.

Was it the last hurrah for Jason Kelce?
The Super Bowl winner has demonstrated his competitive side on the field often. But the fans understand his jovial nature as well. Though understandably, Kelce must’ve been distraught with the loss. But reports suggest that this was the last straw for the 36-year-old.

On previous occasions, Kelce has talked about retirement, which is to be expected with his age. And after serving 13 years in football, a disconsolate Kelce could have just played his final game. The reason for Jason’s retirement call was the Eagles’ disheartening loss against the Buccaneers.

Many expect the speech to come through on the newest episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast. With his brother Travis Kelce to support him on the screen, Jason Kelce will be able to go through the emotional side of retirement. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
