So, it’s just the end of that game.”
He continued praising his brother, “I think everybody kind of felt for him… it’s been cool to see everybody appreciate who he’s been over the years and this past week.” Later, the Chiefs‘ tight end concluded with a message for Jason and his fans, “I think the big guy still got some football left if he wants it.”

Jason said that he didn’t announce his plans “on purpose,” backing up with “I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really make that decision. I just don’t. There’s too much emotion in the moment, there’s too much going down in the moment, to really fully grasp that decision. I’m not trying to be dramatic and continue to draw this thing out, I’m really not.” Kelce further clarified that when he makes such a decision in the future, he will aim for it to be a definitive announcement, respecting those who contributed to his career.
