Can Calais Campbell back up his talk, or will Josh Allen make him eat his words?

Miami Dolphins are one of the biggest rivals of the Buffalo Bills. Dating back to the 1970s, Don Shula led Dolphs buried Bills with 20 consecutive wins in the decade. Both rivals will face each other on September 12. And players are heated up, ready to take it one notch up. However, Dolphins DT Calais Campbell took the competition to another game, Catan, and warned Bills QB Josh Allen.

Talking to Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show on August 13, DT declared, ‘I want all the smoke‘ and said, “I’d whip him. After such a warning, the fans are eager to watch a Catan game between the rivals. It would be fun! However, Allen is no novice. Playing Catan since he was a teenager, he is one of the best Catan players in the league. The QB has made it a regular in the Bills locker room. While speaking on the Green Lights with Chris Long podcast on the 12th of August, he revealed he is a lord of the game.

Allen explained the game to Long before giving away the fun part. He said, “It’s really just bragging rights. It’s a way that we get to gang up.” Then the twist came. The QB claimed he gets ganged up by others, as he is usually the winner.

Bills are concerned about their quarterback position. While Shane Buechele injured his neck during the game (against the Bears), Mitchell Trubisky‘s performance didn’t give confidence to the management and Bills Mafia. The franchise doesn’t want uncertainty in the locker room. Hence, they are assessing their options and most likely, would add a QB to the roster.

The loss has definitely enraged the QB. He went on a drive on the August 12 practice session, which amazed the offense. After witnessing the continuous passes, WR Curtis Samuel said, ‘That’s a tough guy.” Being the star QB, Josh Allen is vital to Bill’s chances of winning the Super Bowl.
