In response to recent rumors surrounding New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, his teammate Aaron Rodgers addressed the situation on The Pat McAfee Show. Rodgers expressed concern about what he perceived as an internal effort to “assassinate someone’s character.”
This reaction comes in the wake of reports by The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt, Dianna Russini, and Jeff Howe, who suggested that Wilson was “reluctant” to reassume the starting role. Well, despite the criticism, Rodgers came in support of the young quarterback and tried to explain the situation to all the critics.
