One of the most eagerly awaited matchups in Week 9 of the 2023 NFL season is the showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend. The Eagles currently hold the NFL’s best record, but the Cowboys have been building momentum in their last two games. In this highly anticipated AFC East clash, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are geared up to stage an upset, but they face a formidable challenge in the form of the Eagles, who are determined not to make it an easy contest.
Football fans are in for a thrilling battle as these two powerhouse teams prepare to face off. Especially the Philadelphia fans are on a roll for this exciting contest. And as always, the Philly fans maintained their reputation as loud and boisterous ahead of the Cowboys game. So much so, that even a cop couldn’t control ranting about the opponent team.

A seemingly dedicated law enforcement officer named Peter dialed into 94 WIP’s midday show hosted by Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio. He expressed his deep-seated disdain for the Cowboys in a passionate rant. Just as he was vehemently sharing his sentiments about despising the team, his duties called to him and he had to abruptly interrupt the call to pull someone over.
Peter the cop casually pulling someone over while ranting about the Cowboys on the @WIPMiddayShow is gold.
"I've never hated anything more than I've hated the Dallas Cowboys…Sorry pulling someone over—this is not just a game. This year especially, it's the division!" 🤣 pic.twitter.com/dRvmc6ME29

He said, “I have never hated anything more than I hate the Dallas Cowboys.” Then after talking about how he awaits the Dallas-Eagles game, he continued, “I hate the Cowboys! Everyone who loves the Eagles should hate the Cowboys! Hate them. Despise them. Including the players.” Then he rued the fact that the old culture and camaraderie seem to have gone missing nowadays and expressed his wish that it be brought back.
That’s when the sirens went off and he apologized. He said, “Sorry, I’m pulling someone over.” The uncanny situation was a hilarious surprise; on one end, he was expressing his anger towards the Dallas Cowboys while on the other end, he was duly performing his duties. This is not a shocking thing when it comes to Philadelphia fans – they demand their teams perform at their peak at all times.

Taylor Lewan is amazed by Philadelphia Eagles fans
In the Week 2 of this season, the Philadelphia Eagles were squaring up against the Minnesota Vikings at the Linc, in front of their fans. Although the team secured a solid 34-28 win against the Vikings, it wasn’t enough for some of the Philly fans. They were booing their team at the very beginning of the play. Why? Because some of the offensive plays didn’t land quite right.
This was even observed by the former standout offensive lineman, Taylor Lewan. He wrote on the X, “Philly Fans gotta be the most demanding fans in the entire NFL. It’s Week 2 and they are acting like the Eagles weren’t in the Super Bowl last year.”
